Meet Daisy, a young pretty athletic girl enjoying a carefree life!
She arrived into the rescue only 10 weeks after giving birth to 9 puppies. She sure adjusted to her new found freedoms fast, and loved being a house dog too!
When you meet her you say wow look at that beautiful leggy girl! She is a lean 40lbs, she lost all her baby fat running the acreage at her foster home. She also loves swimming in their pond.
She is smart and knows basic commands, comes to her name and walks fine using the easy walk harness.
Daisy sleeps in her crate quietly through the night, eventually she may not need a crate, but she does have a love of shoes..all kinds and she is learning that they are not acceptable things to chew.
Outside she loves her backyard, and can stare up a tree watching squirrels for hours. Inside after exercise she is content to be your couch buddy or office buddy loves snuggle time with her people.
Daisy MUST go to a home with a fenced in yard and hopefully shade trees.
She has smooth flat coat which provides for minimal grooming -- she is a wash-and-wear dog.
Getting to Know YouDaislyy gets so excited meeting new poeple or coming oout of her crate in the morning, she wants to Hug! She is working on controlling her excitment.
She rides great in cars!
Daisy is great meeting and greeting new dogs. She is maybe too confident, and sometimes bossy, with letting all the dogs know that she is the boss and they must fall into line.
She would do well in a home with another young dog of a similar breed and size. She does love playing with and protecting puppies.
Daisy's HistoryDaisy was a former breeding dog who had two litters by her 2nd birthday.
Like many, the breeder had fallen on difficult economic struggles and needed help rehoming Daisy. FBR was there to help her, and we are so happy we did.
