Levi arrived into our Brittany rescue only 3 weeks ago, and we just love this cuddle-bug of a Brittany -- and at his trim and petite size (27lbs. of charm and affection), he has no qualms of being your devoted lap dog! He is a sensitive boy, so he takes his time to trust and warm up to new people and situations, but once he does, he is all in, and all yours.

While getting ready for his perfect forever family, Levi is being fostered in a home with two female Brittanys who are teaching him all about beds and toys (things which are all new to him), and how these things all work into his life. He just loves to play and hunt with his fur sisters. Every evening, he goes to the dog park with them, and as his confidence steadily grows, he loves meeting and greeting new dogs and people there.

Levi came from a hunt camp where he wasn't working out, so he was sold to a nice man who thought he could put the time into training Levi to be a hunting dog. A time-consuming job change prevented that from happening, so the man thought it best to find Levi a family who could give him the time and attention that a dog like Levi truly deserves.

We feel Levi could benefit from being in his foster home a few more weeks before he adopts. He is learning commands like sit, stay and come. He is eagerly learning his manners, too, and can't wait to show them off to his forever family. We would like to see Levi go to a family with another active dog and with loving people who have the time to continue his training, making him the best Brittany he wants to be.
