A trim and athletic 44lb. love-bug, Quincy is a gorgeous, full-tailed Brittany who has personality to spare, with the keen Brittany intelligence to go with it. He really loves making eye contact with you. Quincy loves to cuddle and keep you company on the sofa, and in the kitchen, in the office, in the bedroom, anywhere! But, after a few minutes of attention find the toy box and entertains himself playing and chewing deer antlers.

Quincy loves to play tug-of-war with all the dogs around him, and he is a muscular, strong and rough-and-tumble playmate. He loves all kinds of games with you: hide-and-seek, tug-of-war, and fetching/retrieving. He needs lots of room to run off-leash, so a securely fenced-in property is a must. Quincy would work in a multi-dog family, where the fur sister and/or brother shares a similar physique, energy level and love of play. As rough and tumble he is in play with other dogs, he is sweetly gentle and loving as a companion to you.

Quincy like so many young Brittanys needs work on leash training. Guess what, he pulls when he sees the he sees the squirrels. He will also pull when he sees other dogs and people on walks,he wants to meet them. His foster parents are distracting him with treats as they train him.

We rescued Quincy from a shelter in the Panhandle of Florida, he had a collar on but not tag or microchip and no one came looking for him. We are not sure why as he is a very smart boy...and he is so easy to teach because he is extremely praise driven: you don't need any treats to teach this Brittany boy, because he absolutely can't get enough of your praise and attention.
