Remi is a handsome boy with a deep orange roan coat.
He is independent and enjoys spending time with his humans. His youthful spirit will be best suited in a home that provides room for lots of off running and playing.
Remi is always game for a long car ride, and new adventures. Make sure you have a good arm because this boy loves retrieving tennis balls.
Remi gets along with other dogs just fine, but he could also be an only dog. He does chase cats.
Remi learned the training collar in one day and his recall is 100 %.
He knows commands sit, down and come. He is house trained but prefers sleeping near you at night instead of a crate.
He will need work on leash walking since his pervious home had acreage and Remi was never leash walked.
Counter surfing also needs work, since Remi had to be kept isolated from the young baby in the home due to allegories. He is smart and understands a firm “OFF” he just needs retrained on good house manners.
Remi was bought as a puppy and lived in a loving home with acreage and a fenced in yard. When he was 2 years a baby arrived, that became allergic to Remy. The family did not give up on Remi, they just fitted the laundry room with a doggy door so Remi could live separately in the home and have access to the outdoors. His days were spent as his master's place of work.
When the family relocated to a condo with no fenced in backyard for Remi, they contacted Florida Brittany Rescue. We are happy they choose us to help rehome him.
