FBR0288 OZZIE-ADOPTION PENDING

Ozzie is a small-framed and beautifully proportioned Brittany dog, now at 38 lbs. He has beautiful markings and a silky-smooth, flat coat. When he is out, he loves meeting and greeting all the new people and dogs he meets. Leash walking is a challenge but does very well with a prong collar. We want to place him in a home with another young Brittany or similar like-minded sporting breed. He loves to run and play keep-away with the other dogs. If he is an only dog, it will be important to keep him social and active with other young dogs. He does settle indoors after hard exercise. He is a Brittany puppy and still needs crating for alone time. At night he sleeps quietly with a plush soft blanket in his 36" crate. Ozzie is in a foster home that runs or walks with him everyday at least 3-5 miles. As long as he gets a routine of regular exercise, this boy will burn off his puppy energy! His focus is terrific after exercise.

Ozzie loves car rides and playing with other dogs, so an active, on-the-go family who can take him for walks and trips to the dog park for off-leash time is ideal. We are teaching him some manners right now, but Ozzie needs an owner who will take the time to train him to be the dog we know he can be. A beginners obedience class is a must, and we're sure he will graduate top in his class, as he is so eager to learn. Being very treat motivated and also being eager to please will make training Ozzie both fun and rewarding.

Ozzie's owners had changes in their living circumstances and requested to rehome him. They cared for him medically since he was a puppy. Don't wait to apply for this little gem.
