Bingham is a fast leggy boy. Like all Brittanys he loves being outside and enjoys the outdoors running, walking, swimming and playing with balls.
He is dog savvy and gets along with the Brittany packs in all the foster homes he has had since arriving into our rescue one month ago. Meets other dogs on walks just fine.
He is nervous about car rides, mainly because its just new to him, but when he arrives in fun places he is happy. He will need time to feel more relaxed in vehicles.
We would like to place him in a home with a Brittany or Brittanys close to his age.
We will not adopt Bingham into a home with any special needs dog or a dog over 8 years old. It would not be fair on Bingham or your senior.
Loves his peopleThe sweetest thing we see with Bingham is how when he comes out of his crate in the morning he stretches then makes sure he greets all the member of the household before he goes out for his first potty walk!
he sits and waits and all the doors and lets you put his leash on.
He is Crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night.
From his foster home:
He can sit, down, stay, come, has door control, walks and runs like a dream(left sided walker and no pulling). He is fully kennel trained. He enjoys training (likes the mental stimulus), he was very easy to train. He is a very affectionate dog. He needs a gentle, caring, consistent person that will earn his trust. If you put the time into him, he could be a fully off leash trained dog in a matter of months. If you have any questions just ask! This kid is a diamond in the rough!
HistoryBingham's owner reached out to FBR when things changed in their lives and they needed help finding him a good home.
They knew FBRHQ had an acreage facility and training available and that is what Bingham needed.
He is now neutered and is up to date on all vaccines. He is on monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventions.
