FBR0314 DALLAS

Meet Dallas, a diamond in the rough. A real lover boy and so wants to make his people happy. He arrived with a bad ear infection but allowed his foster mom and vet to clean them. He handles well with grooming. He had a neuter and dental in our care. Leash walking he does fine with a martingale collar. He loves car rides! He is crate trained and house trained. He needs to learn recall, and sharing toys with other dogs. He could be an only dog or we believe an older female or male that didn't really care too much about toys. He does fine with hard balls and the Kong Black line of toys.

We believe Dallas didn't have a lot of training and some chewing behaviors he developed are like a 6 month old puppy. His forever home will need to keep a careful eye on him both inside and outside so he doesn't hurt himself chewing the wrong then. The last 2 weeks he has learned so much, so we know in a few months he will learn what is expected of him. He needs a patient owner to put the time into his training, at least for 3 months with little change in routine.

Dallas was held for 14 days in a shelter ...he had no chip or collar tag, just a stray running the roads of rural GA. Once in our care he had a full CBC blood, urine and fecal done. He tested Negative for all blood parasites. He will be in training for the next 3 weeks then we hope to place him in his own home.
