Meet Bogart's Casablanca! Bogie for short, and boy his name suits him he is a lover boy!
What a quick learner, and he is versatile, as long as you give him a regular routine.
He is a very sweet natured Brittany and he needs to be in a home with other nice dogs that match his playful nature.
He loves toys! He can entertain himself, but would rather play retrieving games with his humans.
He loves car rides and wears a harness and a seat belt clip.
He is a very good boy!
Home we are looking forHe would do great in a multigenerational home, where alone time would be minimum.
He is 47 lbs and in good health. We believe his ideal weight should be 42 lbs. He is running so much at his foster home it won't be long before he is the ideal weight!
Despite his leggy frame he still thinks he is a puppy!
He loves to nap with with people on recliners, couches or in your bed!
He is treat motivated and does well with grooming. He has a gorgeous coat!
Bogie could be an only dog, but gets along well sharing his space with other dogs.
If there is another dog in the home, best that it is a likeminded breed.
HistoryBogie was with the same owners since he was 8 weeks old. He was loved and cared for by his people.
So, it was with a heavy heart when they asked to rehome Bogie with our rescue. Bogie needed a home where he wouldn't be bullied by another dog.
His owner drove 12 hours one way from MS to bring Bogie to our rescue.
We are also grateful that Bogie's ex-owner also agreed to help transport our foster Bella down to Florida. The nice thing is now Bogie and Bella are good friends, because they bonded on the journey
