Our newest foster is here and she's bringing ALL the energy! Fern is a beautiful English Cocker & Boykin mix who is as sweet as she is spirited! She's looking for an active, experienced forever home that can keep up with her adventurous soul. The good stuff: Super sweet & affectionate Full of energy and drive Environmentally sound UTD on vaccines, spayed & heartworm negative, Fecal negative. The real talk (because she deserves the RIGHT home): Fern isn't everyone's cup of tea Struggles with resource guarding (food, toys, kennel, humans, etc.) Needs supervision around other dogs – would THRIVE as the only dog Not cats or critter approved Great with older kids (5+), but no babies or toddlers

We're working with her daily on structure, walks, and socialization But this girl NEEDS a job,a backyard + a tennis ball just won't cut it An outdoorsy, adventurous human (or family!) who wants a loyal sidekick! Bonus points if you're interested in hunting or giving this smart girl a purpose! Fern is ready to give her whole heart to someone who understands her needs and will help her shine.

Fern was surrendered to our rescue after the family grew and she wasn't fitting into the family's routine. She was purchased as a 8 week old puppy and had all of mom and dad's attention, she changed when the 2nd baby arrived.
