Petite Southern Belle Sadie
This girl has so much spunk and energy and loves being with her people! At only 29 lbs, she thinks she is a lap dog. We are looking for a home that can keep her exercised and safe. And give her quality time and attention. She needs a physical fenced in yard. She is doing great leash walking wearing a martingale collar.
A diamond in the rough
Sadie was bought at 8 weeks, and lived indoors until 6 months. She spent the rest of her days in an outside 1/8 of an acre pen, with a covered dwelling until she came into our rescue. She is now completely kennel trained and crate trained. She has had one training session and did great! She loves leash walking! A home that has the time and financial means to continue her training would be perfect for Sadie. She will be moving into a foster home in early July to polish her house manners.
Let's put her past behind her
In her early years Sadie was given a lot of attention, and then her young owner moved onto sports and girls and didn't have time to care for Sadie. She got bored in her large pen and learned how to escape. Florida Brittany Rescue was contacted and we agreed to take her and Swagger into our rescue. She tested positive for heartworms and will go through heartworm treatment at the end of June. Her heart and lungs are clear, so we expect an uneventful recovery. This dog just wants attention and be loved, she will fit into any active home with the right set up to keep her safe.
