Bella's Story
Bella came into rescue after experiencing neglect during the first part of her life. When she arrived at her foster home six weeks ago, she was extremely timid, frightened, and unsure of the world around her. She lacked confidence and needed time to simply feel safe. With the help of her patient foster family, three confident foster dog sisters, and even two cat siblings, Bella has made remarkable progress. Once she realized she was safe, her sweet personality began to emerge. She has learned to trust, enjoys being part of the family, and greets each day with her signature smile. She really has the cutest smile! Bella is a gentle, loyal soul who forms deep bonds with the people she trusts. She isn't demanding or overly energetic—she simply enjoys being close to her family and taking life at her own pace. Watching her confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding.
Bella's Ideal Home
Bella will thrive with a family that understands trust is earned and is willing to continue the journey her foster family has started. Her ideal home includes: • At least one friendly, confident dog to help guide and reassure her. • A patient family that understands fearful dogs need time to adjust and blossom. • A stable, active home where she will be included as part of the family. A physical fenced in yard is needed • A calm, loving environment that will continue building her confidence through kindness, consistency, and positive experiences. Bella has done wonderfully living with both dogs and cats in her foster home and has shown that she enjoys the companionship of other animals.
What Bella Needs Most
Bella doesn't need perfection—she needs people who will believe in her. She may never be the first dog to greet strangers or seek the spotlight, but once she trusts you, her loyalty and affection are unwavering. Every week she continues to surprise us with new milestones, and we know she will continue to flourish with the right family. If you have room in your heart and home for a deserving dog who simply needs patience, love, and another chance, Bella may be the perfect addition to your family. We believe Bella's best chapter is still ahead of her, and we can't wait to see her find the forever home she so deserves.
