Holiday Spirit & Custom Art for Florida's Brittanys
We have a special, Custom Oil painting prize for our last raffle of 2024!

Florida Brittany Rescue is on track to have another record year of rescues and we couldn’t do this important work without the support of our alumni and supporters!

We are dedicating this year’s Christmas Raffle to our heartworm positive Brittanys we rescued this year Ginger, Cooper and Archie, to help cover their medical expenses, which landed well over $4,000. Each dog was also spayed and neutered and brought up to date on all vaccines.

Florida Brittany Rescue supporter, Nancy Benzinger, donated this special keepsake gift to support all the Brittanys in our care.

RAFFLE PRIZE | 11x14' Oval — ORIGINAL OIL PORTRAIT OF "YOUR DOG’S FACE”, by artist Sheila Bonfigilo

OF NOTE | The winner’s commissioned artwork will begin in the New Year and takes on average a full month to complete. Work will commence once an acceptable photo is submitted to the artist.

The artist will cover shipping. Her personal preference is the Ovals finish, which is easier to transition the neckline of the dog. This way they are not "floating" about the background and the picture does not have to be framed as she paints the edges.

Drawing will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 and shared online via our social platforms, on Facebook and Instagram. We greatly appreciate your continued support!

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Sheila Lashway Bonfiglio

"I am a lifelong Artist; my chosen medium is oil. I have studied with multiple award-winning Artists such as Jack Thursby and Scott Jackson (Copley Master)

My painting genre has been subjects that I find in my everyday life …a group of flowers in a well-tended garden, a pet or a local landscape. I do love creating a “Portrait” of someone’s favorite pet or barnyard companion.

My painting process is to recreate a subject in bright pure plains of color with shadows portrayed with the deepest richest colors. I have shown extensively in juried shows throughout North Florida along with a few solo showings winning multiple awards.

My work hangs in multiple private collections here, in New England, Florida and Alaska. I now reside in New Hampshire with my husband, four dogs and two cats. Most of my work is offered by private commission."

Thank You, Happy Holidays & Good Luck!
